Job Title: National IT ManagerLocation: Delhi, IndiaOrganization: Samvedna Development SocietyReports To: National Project DirectorPosition Summary:The National IT Manager will be responsible for leading and coordinating all IT and MIS functions at the national level while guiding state-level IT/MIS teams. The role involves designing and maintaining an integrated national portal, ensuring data accuracy and real-time updates, and supporting state-level implementation.Key Responsibilities:Guide and mentor all state-level Technical Directors (IT/MIS) in the design, development, and maintenance of state-level portals.Provide technical oversight to ensure alignment with national standards.Design, develop, and maintain the Integrated National Portal for data management and monitoring.Ensure robust architecture, security, and scalability of the national-level portal.Supervise the collection, validation, and real-time entry of data into the integrated portal.Regularly apprise the National Project Director of portal progress, analytics, and technical updates.Collaborate closely with Data Analysts and FPO Development Officers at the Central Project Management Unit (CPMU) to ensure consistent and accurate data flow.Facilitate training and capacity building of MIS personnel across states.Establish protocols for data quality checks, system performance monitoring, and timely troubleshooting.Generate regular reports and dashboards to aid project decision-making.Qualifications and Skills:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT/MIS management, preferably in development or government sector projects.Proven experience in portal design, database management, and system integration.Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination skills.Proficiency in tools such as SQL, /Java, and experience with cloud-based systems is desirable.Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.Preferred Attributes:Experience working with NGOs, CSR projects, or government initiatives.Knowledge of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.Ability to travel occasionally to project sites across India.
