Through the talent of our people and vision of customers, we help improve and save lives throughout the world by making the invisible visible.We are looking for a Facilities Engineer (Mechanical/ Electrical) who plans facilities changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts, working toward economy of operation, maximum use of facilities and equipment, and compliance with laws and regulations. Coordinates with architecture/engineering firms in developing design criteria and preparing layout and detail drawings. Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation and other related costs. Inspects construction and installation progress for conformance to established drawings, specifications, and schedules. Develops criteria and performance specifications required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codesRoles & Responsibilities:1. Develop and review project plans & drawings and assist in Capital equipment's installation, commissioning and handover.2. Manage site inspections and monitor construction progress, MEP progress and reporting.3. Coordinate with contractors, architects, suppliers and government agencies as per requirements.4. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes and address any technical issues that arise during construction.5. Preparing, scheduling, coordinating and monitoring the assigned engineering projects within defined time span.6. Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, personnel’s performance) and report regularly on project status7. Work with the Production maintenance to evaluate needs for all work requests—both scheduled and unscheduled—as well as any special projects that arise.8. Coordinate and follow up on Breakdown / preventative maintenance of Infrastructure such as Civil (Carpentry, Plumbing, Fabrication, Painting etc.) and PEB structure9. Coordinate and follow up on Breakdown / preventative maintenance of Utility equipment's such as Electrical - HT breakers, Transformers, Generators, Solar, UPS, LT Panels, Synchronization panels, Electrical Luminaries, Earthing's etc.10. Coordinate and follow up on Breakdown / preventative maintenance of Utility equipment's such as Mechanical - HVAC (Central and VRV system) - Chiller, AHU's, low side works, Indoors & Outdoors, Air compressors and piping, PHE maintenance, 11. Coordinate and follow up on Breakdown / preventative maintenance of utility equipment's such as Utilities - FAS system, Fire Hydrant & Sprinklers, Extinguishers, Lifts, STP and ETP plants, water & diesel management etc.12. Coordinate and follow up on Breakdown / preventative maintenance of BMS systems and Field devices such as Works station (Software and Hardware), communications (Modbus, Ethernet, RS 232 etc.) field devices (Analog/Digital) etc.13. Coordinate and assist in repairs and renewal involving Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing systems (MEP).14. Liaison with Government agencies for technical work such as MSEB, MPCB, MIDC, DISH etc.Your Profile...Experience with People & Project managementProblem-solving skills.
