About the Company: We are a leading manufacturer of bicycle tires, recently expanding into 2W and 3W tires. Role Overview: We are looking for a dynamic OEM Sales Manager to drive sales and partnerships in the bicycle, electric 2-wheeler, and 3-wheeler segments. The role involves managing relationships with existing bicycle manufacturers while actively engaging with startups and established players in the e-mobility space. Over time, the position will also involve developing relationships with key motorcycle and 3W vehicle manufacturers across India. Key Responsibilities: 1. OEM Business Development & Sales • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing bicycle manufacturers (OEMs). • Identify and engage with startups in the e-bike, electric 2W, and electric 3W sectors to position our tires as the preferred choice. • Develop a strategic sales plan to penetrate the 2W and 3W OEM market, targeting major manufacturers. • Drive B2B sales, negotiate contracts, and manage long-term agreements with OEM customers. • Conduct regular business reviews with key OEM partners to track sales performance and identify growth opportunities. 2. Market Expansion & Strategy • Research industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in the e-mobility sector. • Develop go-to-market strategies for tire and tube sales in the motorcycle and 3W segments. • Identify new opportunities for partnerships, joint ventures, and collaborations. 3. Technical & Product Collaboration • Work closely with R&D and production teams to ensure tire designs meet OEM specifications and market demands. • Provide feedback from customers to influence product development and innovation. • Support OEMs with technical discussions, product approvals, and performance testing. 4. Customer Relationship Management • Act as the key point of contact for OEM clients, ensuring seamless communication and customer satisfaction. • Address and resolve customer concerns, ensuring timely and effective solutions. • Organize and participate in trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities. Key Requirements: 1. Experience & Industry Knowledge • 5-10 years of experience in OEM sales, business development, or key account management in the tire, automotive, or e-mobility sectors. • Strong understanding of the bicycle, 2W, and 3W markets, including e-mobility trends. • Experience dealing with startup ecosystems and established OEMs . 2. Sales & Relationship Management • Proven track record of achieving OEM sales targets and growing market share . • Strong negotiation skills and ability to close long-term deals. • Ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including procurement heads and technical teams. 3. Technical & Analytical Skills • Knowledge of tire and tube specifications, performance parameters, and OEM approval processes. • Ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make data-driven sales decisions. 4. Soft Skills & Mobility • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills . • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and capable of handling a fast-growing product category. • Willingness to travel extensively across India to meet OEM clients and attend industry events. Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field . • MBA or equivalent qualification is a plus. • Prior experience in a tire manufacturing company or e-mobility sector is preferred.
