Job Description:Role : Embedded Software Test EngineerLocation : HyderabadExperience : 3+ yearsNotice Period : Immediate JoinerResponsibilities:Must have experience:Design, develop and execute test plans for embedded systems and software on Qualcomm Chipsets for power and performance optimization.Must have test experience on any embedded devices, mobile phones, IoT devices etcMust have any one of these core technical skills: WLAN, Audio, Video, Graphics, Camera etcIdentify, document, and track defects found during testing.Collaborate with hardware and software development teams to understand system requirements and architecture.Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide feedback to the development team.Automate test cases using relevant tools and frameworks to improve efficiency.Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of testing processes.Education:Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or a related field.Experience:3-8 years of experience in embedded Power and Performance testing or related roles.Strong knowledge of embedded systems architecture, microcontrollers and Linux Kernel.Hands-on experience with Android ADB commands, log analysis, and debuggingExperience with test automation tools and scripting languages (Python).Proficient in using debugging tools and techniques.Familiarity with version control systems (Git, SVN).Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
