Position Overview: As a Tender Specialist, you will play a key role in managing the entire tender process for our products and services in the medical device sector. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting tenders, coordinating with internal teams, and ensuring that all requirements and deadlines are met to secure successful bids. Role Functions: Analyze tender requirements and ensure all submissions comply with client specifications. Prepare tender documentation in collaboration with the sales, legal, and technical teams. Coordinate the completion of all necessary documentation required for submission within strict deadlines. Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with internal departments (e.g., sales, product management, logistics, and legal) to gather and validate information required for tender proposals. Serve as the main point of contact for all tender-related inquiries and clarifications. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential tender opportunities in the public and private healthcare sectors. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to stay ahead in the bidding process. Documentation and Compliance: Ensure that all tender documents adhere to regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of all tender activities and provide reports on the status and outcomes of tenders. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement in tender submissions to increase efficiency and success rates. Develop strategies to improve the quality of proposals and win rates. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Medical Engineering, Sales, Healthcare Management or related discipline or other professional relevant experiences. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in tender management, preferably in the medical device or healthcare industry. Familiarity with the public procurement processes and experience in handling complex tender documentation. Structured, independent and accurate working manners. Strong organizational and project management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both German and English. High attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP or CRM systems is an advantage. Analytical and solution-oriented mindset. Ability to work independently as well as in a team. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across departments. High level of integrity and professionalism when dealing with confidential information.
