To qualify for one of the openings you must be a student (electrical engineering or computer science with major in communication) in the middle or towards the end of your studies looking for an Intern placement as a mandatory or voluntary part of your degree for 6 months. This internship position includes test execution in stationary and mobility (drive test) conditions in our Frankfurt labs and across European 4G and 5G mobile networks. Together, we focus on a single goal: make mobile technology breakthroughs a reality. Responsibilities: Test execution in stationary and mobility conditions. Work on the latest mobile technology. Understand the whole mobile communication system. Take ownership of assigned tasks. Minimum Qualifications: Theoretical knowledge in topics such as LTE, 5G (NSA/SA), OSI model, handovers, TCP/IP protocol, fading, source and channel coding. Exposure to programming in Python or shell scripts. High-level understanding of Android OS. Willingness to travel. Good English written and oral expression. Education: Studying for an Electrical Engineering or Computer Science degree with a major in communication.
