Counsel - Legal & Compliance Shared Services Center (m/f/d)At the Legal & Compliance Shared Services Center Berlin, you become part of our global legal and compliance department.You are responsible for providing legal & compliance services related to local or international standard legal, compliance and IP inquiries based on templates and/or playbooks.You are responsible for preparing, reviewing, editing, negotiating and commenting on confidentiality sales and purchase agreements and other standard contract types on the basis of playbooks and defined negotiation limits, as well as in cooperation with the legal and patent departments.You ensure contract-related review and approval processes as well as legal contract management of existing contracts, the creation and maintenance of standard contract templates and knowledge sharing.You provide support in the field of intellectual property law on IP law issues and processes, in compliance reviews (including but not limited to conducting compliance due diligence) and legal research, as well as in ad-hoc legal consulting relating to other contract types.You have direct interactions with our global legal, compliance and business departments relative to standard contracts and support requests.WHAT YOU OFFERUniversity degree in law or a comparable course of study related to business lawFirst professional experience in the legal sector or compliance sector or commercial contract managementExperience in drafting contracts with focus on commercial law and the legal review of contractsUser knowledge of legal databases and standard IT applicationsFluent language skills in English, ideally also in German; other European languages are a plusVery good analytical skills, goal-oriented approach and strong customer orientationWHAT WE OFFER30 days of paid vacation, special leave and sabbatical optionsWork mobile from other EU countries for up to six weeksLocation-independent work models with defined days of presence in Berlin and place of residence in GermanyFlexible working hours so that you can organize your working and private life according to your needsGross annual salary (full-time): 46,000 - 50,000 , depending on qualifications and professional experience.
