It has now been over 30 years that comprehensive CS Group solutions for space systems and applications, both on the ground and in space, have been part and parcel of this odyssey.Our German activities are growing at a fast pace and to face our customers'' high level expectations and needs, we are looking for talented profiles with relevant experience in Space systems and applications.The following responsibilities are foreseen (not limited to):Proven experience with data processing (Level-0, Level-1 and Level-2) of meteorological and/or earth observation products from satellites instruments.Proven experience in the integration, verification and validation (IV&V) of data processing systems and/or processors, including generation of test plan, test specification, procedures and test reports for end-to-end processing chain.Knowledge of scripting languages and databases (e.g. Perl, Python, shell, PostgreSQL).Proven experience in CI/CD and automated testing.Demonstrated experience with UNIX/Linux operating systems.Ability to write accurate and consistent technical documentation.Practical knowledge in Configuration Control; knowledge in Computer systems, Network systems and IT Security.Mandatory skills and relevant experience in:University degree in a relevant engineering field, Aerospace or telecommunications.Software development (full lifecycle); system engineering; and ground segment and sub-segment level IV&V for Earth Observation missions.Very good technical writing skills, in particular in the area of formal technical documentation (e.g. requirements specification and design documentation, test plans and procedures, maintenance procedures).Source code control systems (e.g. Subversion, Git).Software anomalies analysis, debugging, profiling, fixing and processing.This job is located in Darmstadt.
