The Insurance Broker/Administrative Assistant will support day-to-day operations and client service, helping the office run smoothly while gaining valuable industry experience.Insurance Broker/Administrative Assistant responsibilities:Answer and direct incoming calls using a digital switchboard systemManage incoming and outgoing mail, including scanning and routing documents in EPICMonitor and respond to messages from general office email accountsProcess client payments and make depositsPrepare and distribute Certificates of Insurance (COIs)Maintain accurate client records and insurance policy documentationAssist senior brokers with administrative support and client communicationStay informed about insurance products, industry trends, and regulatory updatesEnsure well-organized digital filing and client correspondence trackingContribute to a supportive team culture and positive office environmentThe successful candidate has:1+ year of experience in the insurance industry (commercial or personal lines preferred)1+ years of Administrative experienceGeneral Insurance Level 1 Licence in BC Familiarity with Alberta licensing requirements is an assetStrong customer service and communication skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and EPIC or similar BMSHigh attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced settingA collaborative attitude and eagerness to learnPost-secondary education or equivalent experienceCompensation and benefits:The discussed pay range is 23.00- 25.00 dollars per hour depending on experienceThis is a contract opportunity with strong potential to go permanentWork from home capability 2-3 days per weekOnly candidates already eligible to work in Canada will be reviewed.
