The successful candidate must be able to construct, install, and repair structural wood and/or related materials in an accurate and safe manner. We will not risk safety under any circumstancesAlways promoting a collaborative, team attitude in all that we doRequired Skills and Attributes:Measuring, cutting, shaping, and assembling materials (wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, etc.) using hand tools, power tools, and machineryInstalling frameworks, such as walls, floors, doorframes, and roof systemsFitting and installing trim, windows, doors, staircases, molding, and hardwareBuilding foundations, laying subflooring, and erecting structuresInspecting and repairing damaged frameworks or fixturesA Team Attitude - ability to follow directions and take guidance Strong Safety Acumen - being safety conscious is a must, and adherence to all Health & Safety Policies and Procedures is mandatoryStrong Communication Skills - you will be working closely with the Site Superintendent, Foreman, Lead Hands, and other team members Ability to read blueprints and drawings and accurately interpret complete calculationsFlexibility - must be able to work out of town as requiredYour own vehicle - must have a reliable means of transportationEducation:Red Seal Journey Person or equivalent is preferred; relevant experience and related tickets will be consideredWhat we offer:Competitive wagesComprehensive benefits program Group RRSP planOpportunities for growth and developmentTo be a part of one of the most dynamic companies in the industryThe successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual who is organized, able to multi-task well, and has effective time management skills.
