Were seeking an experienced and hands-on Mechanical Designer with strong SolidWorks skills to help bring complex, skid-mounted systems from concept to fabrication. As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, youll play a key role in transforming engineering concepts into practical, fabrication-ready designs that meet exacting industry standards. Responsibilities: Create detailed 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for skid-mounted process systems, piping layouts, structural frames, and equipment assemblies using SolidWorks. Modify and update existing designs and drawings to meet evolving project requirements. Requirements: Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or a related discipline. Minimum of 3 years of experience designing mechanical systems using SolidWorks, ideally within custom equipment or process industries. Strong working knowledge of piping systems, skid fabrication, and industrial components. Experience with design of pressure-rated components and sanitary process equipment is an asset. Proficient in reading P&IDs, engineering specifications, and technical schematics. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset. Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
