About Us Dawson Wallace Construction is a privately owned General Contractor in business since 1987 with offices in Edmonton, Calgary, and Lethbridge.Our firm specializes in commercial, retail, office, and warehouse construction.We are currently seeking an experienced, well presented, energetic Project Manager in our Edmonton office. The Position The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects within the decided-upon budget, timeline, and scope.They will also effectively monitor and present project updates to relevant stakeholders, clients, or project team members. Responsibilities Marketing Perform estimating and budgeting tasks as required Communicate with and coordinate design professionals and client as necessary Establish and maintain project schedule Negotiate contracts Manage project deliverables Chair and minute regular site meetings High level of problem-solving ability Pride in work of self and team Invoicing and monthly projections for current projects including monitoring of payments so these are received in a timely fashion Participate in regular site inspections and delegate remedial work as identified Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them Qualifications P.Eng, CET or related field experience is required in addition to minimum project management experience requested Minimum of 10 years of project management experience related to commercial construction Site experience related to commercial construction Strong business acumen in project planning and management Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Project Team player that can adapt to various roles as required Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Travel to and from site is required from time to time and may include out of town travel as our work area includes Alberta, Saskatchewan, and B.C.
