Job Description

The Role:Were looking for a strategic and detail-oriented Ecommerce Product Specialist to optimize our online product presence and help drive performance across our digital shelf. Youll manage and improve product listings, ensure accurate content across platforms, and implement marketing and merchandising strategies to support sales and subscriptions. This role is essential to scaling our ecommerce growth through performance optimization, strong digital merchandising, and customer-focused enhancements.Principal DutiesManage all product information and assets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across product pages and digital platformsCreate and maintain product listings (PIM) for all SKUs, including core products and new innovationsAudit and implement channel mapping and syndication strategies for Shopify and targeted ecommerce platformsCollaborate with marketing, creative, and development teams to align on brand strategy and execute high-converting contentOversee the development and distribution of digital shelf assets and ensure best-in-class presentationProvide regular communication on product changes, launches, and updates to internal stakeholdersResearch customer behavior and analyze performance to inform product positioning and page optimizationWork closely with internal stakeholders (including marketing and customer service) to deliver seamless experiences across all touchpointsDevelop and track KPIs and conversion metrics tied to digital shelf initiativesExecute other related tasks as neededKey ResponsibilitiesProduct Listing Optimization: Write and refine compelling product descriptions and imagery that engage customers and boost conversions. Apply SEO best practices for visibility and performance.Digital Marketing Support: Contribute to initiatives like SEO, paid media, and social strategy that support traffic growth and engagement.Website Management: Monitor performance and identify areas of friction on Shopify; collaborate with the development team to implement fixes and improvements.Customer Experience: Partner with customer support and retention teams to ensure listings address common questions and reinforce a positive experience.Data Analysis: Track analytics across platforms (Shopify, GA4, Recharge, etc.) to guide content and CRO decisions.Collaboration: Act as the connective tissue between product, creative, and marketing teams to ensure ecommerce success.How Youll ContributeIncrease Sales: Through optimized product listings and targeted merchandising strategiesImprove User Experience: By maintaining clear, engaging, and accurate product contentEnhance Brand Image: By representing the brand in a consistent, compelling, and high-performing way across all digital shelvesWhat Youll Bring3+ years in eCommerce merchandising, digital marketing, or CRO (preferably DTC or health/wellness)Strong copywriting skills, with an eye for persuasive, clear, and SEO-friendly languageHands-on experience with Shopify and/or Recharge (subscription tools a bonus)Familiarity with PIM systems and digital shelf strategyAnalytical mindset and confidence using platforms like GA4, Hotjar, and Shopify analyticsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally and manage multiple product SKUs with precision
