Job Description Want to make a real difference? KWESST is looking for a skilled and driven Senior Manual QA to join our new Lightning team. Lightning is a cutting-edge SaaS solution built to equip first responders and law enforcement with a robust, integrated set of capabilities across multiple components. Responsibilities Design and develop detailed test procedures and cases to spot software weaknesses, ensuring Lightning performs when it counts. Run hands-on testing to evaluate functionality and integration, documenting results with accuracy. Collaborate with the team to guide and determine the optimal timing for deploying the next version with new features to QA environments. Oversee the product test environment, ensuring every component is thoroughly tested and ready, meeting high security standards. Anticipate risks and deliver solutions that keep Lightning reliable and ready for action. Required Qualifications A bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience). 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a knack for finding what others overlook. Solid expertise in manual testing methodologies and best practices, ideally in an Agile setting. Proven ability to lead testing efforts with confidence and precision. Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate and document effectively.
