About the Role: We are seeking a MLOps Engineer to lead the design and deployment of highly scalable, low-latency systems for real-time data processing, machine learning operations, and automated cloud infrastructure. This role is essential to building and maintaining a cutting-edge platform that supports real-time bonusing, fraud detection, and event-driven inference in a high-volume gaming environment. You will collaborate closely with data scientists, backend developers, and product teams to deploy and operate production-grade ML systems and data processing pipelines that power real-time decision-making and personalized player experiences. Key Responsibilities Real-time Data Processing & Architecture Design and implement distributed processing engines for stateful computations over unbounded data streams using frameworks such as Apache Flink, Spark, Beam, or AWS-native solutions (e.g., Kinesis Data Analytics, Lambda). Build robust pipelines that combine historical data (Redshift) with real-time streams (Kinesis) to power live inference and feature delivery for ML models. Optimize systems for low-latency, high-throughput streaming analytics, including state management and failure recovery. MLOps & Model Deployment Deploy containerized ML models and feature transformation pipelines using Amazon ECS, EKS, or Kubernetes. Develop CI/CD pipelines to automate model training, validation, testing, versioning, and deployment. Implement observability, monitoring, and rollback mechanisms to ensure production-grade resilience and traceability for ML services. Support end-to-end model lifecycle management, including reproducibility across staging and production environments. Data Standardization & Integration Architect and maintain a platform that maintains a single source of truth for all player interactions from disparate data sources systems in real time. Build data pipelines and transformation layers to ensure consistent mapping and data standardizations, enabling reliable analytics, fraud detection, and player segmentation. DevOps & Infrastructure Automation Design, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC), best practices. Ensure secure, scalable, and highly available deployments across AWS. Collaborate with engineering teams to build tooling for developer velocity, release automation, and cloud resource governance. Qualifications 5+ years of experience in DevOps, MLOps, or Data Engineering roles in production environments. Deep experience with real-time stream processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Flink, Beam, Spark Streaming) and AWS streaming services (Kinesis, Lambda). Proven experience deploying ML models in production using Docker, Kubernetes, ECS/EKS, and managing CI/CD pipelines. Strong command of Python, TypeScript, SQL, and container orchestration. Solid understanding of event-driven architectures, stateful streaming, and model inference workflows. Expert level in AWS infrastructure and IaC tools, with strong preference for AWS CDK + TypeScript. Experience with data modeling and data integration, especially across real-time and batch systems. Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog) and incident response practices. Preferred Qualifications Master Degree in Computer Science or Mathematics Background in gaming, fintech, or fraud prevention systems. Experience with model versioning and monitoring platforms (e.g., MLflow, Sagemaker Model Monitor). Exposure to data cataloging and lineage tools (e.g., AWS Glue Data Catalog, Amundsen).
