Job Description

Position: Stress -Analysis and Simulation Location: Toronto, Canada Full time role. Note: We need candidates who have more than 5 + Years of strong experience in aircraft structure. Job Description: Execute Stress analysis projects of Aircraft fuselage structures to ensure structural integrity using FEM tools like Nastran, Patran and Hypermesh and classical hand calculation approach using standard aerospace books. Structural Analysis: Perform static, dynamic, and fatigue analysis of aircraft components and assemblies. Finite Element Modeling: Create and refine finite element models (FEMs) for detailed stress analysis. Load and Stress Calculations: Extract loads, stresses, and material data from drawings and specifications. Sizing and Design: Conduct sizing of primary and secondary structural parts to meet static and fatigue requirements. Joint Analysis: Perform detailed analysis of joints and fasteners, including calculating reserve factors for various failure modes. Certification and Reporting: Prepare stress certification dossiers and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Problem Solving: Identify and implement solutions for potential structural issues, such as low reserve factors or buckling. Collaboration: Work with design, loads, and certification teams to ensure a robust and safe design. Testing: Develop and interpret test results to validate analytical models. Software Proficiency: Utilize software like HYPERWORKS, PATRAN, NASTRAN and hands on design softwares like CATIA.
