What You Will Do: Maintain a neat and clean place to stay for visitors Take part in laundry duties, as required Wash floors of guest bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other assigned areas Dust and sanitize furniture and clean, polish and sanitize appliances Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture Clean and sanitize washrooms, fixtures, and surfaces Wash doors, windows, walls and bathroom ceilings Maintain all bedroom and bathroom linen and amenities Perform any other job-related duties assigned by the supervisor We Are Looking For Someone Who: Cares about their professional appearance and follows uniform and dress code standards Works cooperatively with others Knows how to operate and perform routine maintenance on equipment located in the housekeeping department Applies safe work practices Performs efficiently under pressure and within time restraints Skill and Industry Requirements: Great organizational skills Must have the ability to handle and solve customer related concerns and report to supervisor, as necessary Knowledge of WHMIS program Minimum one year of housekeeping experience an asset Other: This job may require heavy lifting, long periods of standing, and a rigorous work pace Thank you to all applicants for their interest in this opportunity; only candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
