Taylor Ryan is currently seeking an estimator for two Edmonton-based General Contractor clients. The successful candidate will have experience within the ICI space, ideally putting estimates together for projects valued over $25 Million. What is in it for you? Competitive salary, ranging from $100,000 - $150,000 + Bonus Be able to join a company with the potential to grow into a Preconstruction or Estimating Manager Generous package including extended benefits, 3 weeks vacation, RRSP matching programs, etc. What You''ll do: Estimating & Proposal Preparation Prepare accurate estimates, quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and subcontractor/supplier pricing. Develop risk mitigation plans and ensure proposals are completed and submitted on time. Subcontractor & Supplier Management Solicit, review, and level subcontractor and material supply quotes while maintaining strong industry relationships and an updated pricing database. Collaboration & Client Engagement Participate in client meetings, project interviews, and team discussions. Work closely with engineers, architects, and owners to refine cost estimates and recommendations. Training & Development Mentor junior staff, assist in team training, maintain career progression, and update estimating software as needed. What Our Clients are Targeting: 5+ years of Estimating Experience within a General Contractor Experience working on bids for ICI projects valued at $25M or more. Experience mentoring and assisting junior estimators would be an asset Experience with multiple construction methodologies would be an asset (LEAN, IPD, Self Perform, CM, etc).
