As they expand across Canada, they are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Real Estate and Construction to lead the planning, acquisition, development, and construction of their growing clinic network. This is a key leadership role for someone with a proven track record in real estate and construction who thrives in a dynamic, design-forward, and purpose-driven environment. Develop and execute a comprehensive real estate and construction strategy in alignment with the companys expansion goals. Collaborate with executive leadership to determine facility requirements and site selection strategies. Project Management: Oversee the planning, design, permitting, and construction of new healthcare facilities and the renovation of existing sites. Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other key stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Real Estate Acquisitions: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate potential property acquisitions. Conduct due diligence, including market analysis, risk assessment, and financial modeling to support acquisition decisions. Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of real estate and construction professionals. Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry standards. Implement quality control measures and safety protocols on all construction sites. Maintain strong relationships with internal departments, external partners, regulatory agencies, and community stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and milestones to senior management and board members. Bachelors degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in real estate development, construction management, or related fields. Proven experience in a leadership role overseeing large-scale, complex projects, preferably within the healthcare or medical services industry. Demonstrated success in managing acquisitions, project budgets, and cross-functional teams. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills. Deep knowledge of construction processes, real estate markets, and regulatory requirements. Proficiency in project management software and real estate financial modelling tools.
