In this role, youll help keep our HR operations running smoothly by supporting daily administrative tasks, maintaining accurate employee records, and contributing to a positive employee experience. Youll also have the opportunity to be involved in key HR functions such as onboarding, payroll support, employee communications, and engagement initiatives. Provide daily administrative support for HR programs, employee documentation, and records management. Maintain and update HRIS and personnel files , ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Assist with payroll administration , including preparing employee changes, timesheet tracking, and liaising with payroll. Compile and maintain HR metrics and reports , including attendance, turnover, and vacation tracking. Coordinate internal HR communications , including policy updates, memos, and announcements. Help plan and support employee engagement activities , such as events and recognition initiatives. Support compliance efforts by helping to ensure consistency with policies and employment legislation. Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. ~12 years of experience in an HR support or coordination role. ~ Working knowledge of HR processes , employment legislation, and best practices. ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Outlook, and Word); experience with HRIS systems is an asset. ~ Experience supporting payroll and/or benefits administration is considered an asset.
