The Structural Leader oversees the engineering team, project portfolio, and operations of the structural practice. This includes all services and personnel. Including hiring, developing, retaining, and growing the team. This includes working with clients to deliver at a high standard to grow and maintain the book of business. The structural leader oversees budgets and P&L, strategy, and reporting. This position provides hands-on, technical leadership in addition to overseeing the structural engineering practice. The Structural Leader should have a strong background in developing structural solutions inside the built environment. The majority of the project portfolio is renovation projects. Including parking garages, signage, balconies, petrochemical canopies, industrial buildings (complete design), commercial add-ons, and support systems. Creativity to lead projects and teams to adapt existing buildings and find novel solutions that meet client needs is critical.
