Were Hiring: Senior Business Systems Analyst (10+ Years) Toronto, ON Hybrid (2 Days Onsite) Initial 6-Month Contract | High Likelihood of ongoing extension Client: One of Canadas Leading Financial Institutions Im working on behalf of one of Canadas top financial institutions to hire a Senior Business Systems Analyst for a high-impact Finance Transformation initiative within their Treasury and Payments group. This program focuses on streamlining cash flow and currency movement across complex financial systems. This is an initial 6-month contract with a strong likelihood of extending into an ongoing full-time contract for the right candidate. The Opportunity As a Senior BSA, youll bridge the gap between business needs and technical implementation , working closely with data teams, developers, QA, and business stakeholders . Youll lead data profiling efforts, translate requirements into actionable specs, and support system and user acceptance testing. What Were Looking For: 10+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or Data/Business Analyst in financial services Strong experience with SQL , data mining , and data profiling Knowledge of financial products such as payments, mortgages, loans, equity, or trading Experience supporting regulatory/compliance projects is a strong asset Skilled at eliciting requirements and translating them into detailed documentation and technical specs Familiarity with SDLC , and hands-on involvement in SIT/UAT phases Ideal Candidate Traits: Technically savvy with a deep understanding of data Excellent verbal and written communicatorcomfortable engaging stakeholders at all levels Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities Collaborative team player who can also work independently Experience supporting QA and delivering user documentation or training materials Why This Role?
