PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: This is a 4-5 month contract with potential for extension Successful candidate must be available ASAP Candidate will be travelling to different properties so will need a car/ license This position will be 37.5 hours a week with Saturday shifts A drivers abstract will be completed prior to offer Your new company Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with a property management company located in Toronto (St Clair/ Yonge). We are looking to hire a Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a contract basis of 4-5 months, which has the possibility of extension. Your new role Under the guidance of the Marketing Specialist, Leasing and Operations, support the project management of marketing campaigns including: updating timelines and budget spreadsheets, taking meeting notes, following-up on action items with internal and external stakeholders, etc. On-site event support including set-up, teardown, and liaising with vendors and attendees to ensure a positive and smooth experience Support with vendor coordination for the fabrication of event signage and swag, and processing of payments Develop and maintain inventory of swag for the company Capture professional photography and videography during events for company social media content including Instagram stories and posts, and LinkedIn posts iPhone camera and DSLR will be provided Basic design services such as: editing photography, formatting presentations and documents, and modifying existing templates to create social media assets Upload to and tag new photography/videography in our digital media library Data entry to support in the preparation of social media reporting Support in the completion of evaluation forms for sponsorship opportunities Miscellaneous support to the Marketing and Communications team including but not limited to: coordinating reviews of social media content, collecting content for CEO newsletter, logistical support for national virtual colleague calls, monitoring our general company inbox, etc. Requirements: Passion for event and experiential marketing, and social media content creation Creative eye and digitally fluent comfortable with basic photo/video editing or Canva (or equivalent); experience using a DSLR or professional camera an asset; and proficient in formatting PowerPoint presentations Outgoing and personable can naturally build rapport with colleagues and community stakeholders Self-starter with a strong work ethic who thrives in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with great attention to detail to help keep the Marketing and Communications team on track Strong and professional communicator capable of liaising with external vendors Pursuing or having completed a university or college degree in business, marketing or an equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job
