Are you ready to provide input and influence on all phases of the work?The RoleBased out of Winnipeg, and with minimal travel, the Senior Project Manager will be involved in contract management, estimating, ensuring resource availability and allocation, and delivering every project on time, within budget, and in-scope. The ideal candidate will be independent, collaborative, hands-on, and have minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management of multidisciplinary projects. As a senior member of the Winnipeg office, the Senior Project Manager should also have a solid background in dealing with clients and key project stakeholders.Duties and ResponsibilitiesIndependently manage infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects from inception to completion.Oversee project budgets and resource requirements.As part of dynamic team, this position will plan and operationalize large infrastructure projects.Allocate and manage resources to meet strictly defined timelines and budgets throughout the project lifecycle.Ensure compliance with industry safety regulations and quality standards.Build and maintain relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and key team members.Ensure clear and effective communication with clients and project team. Special Note: This position is focused on managing infrastructure and construction projects from the Winnipeg office, with minimal travel involved. On occasion, day trips to project sites are required, and private transportation is typically arranged.Qualifications and SkillsMinimum of 10 years of experience in Project Management of multidisciplinary infrastructure, commercial or industrial projects.Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Construction Management or related fields; PMP an asset.Experience managing construction projects in northern or remote locations is an asset.Extensive experience estimating and managing budgets for large construction projects.Excel at managing a project team and mentoring staff.Highly organized, strong attention to detail, and excellent time management.Superior negotiation and communication skills.Committed to work safely, following established safety practices and procedures.Capable of working independently as well as part of a collaborative team.Apply with resume and cover letter please.
