AWS/CES is looking for a Contract Administrator Location: Markham, Ontario Salary: $90,000 $110,000 annuallyWe are currently seeking an experienced Contract Administrator to join our team in Markham, ON. The successful candidate will play a critical role in overseeing and managing construction contract administration duties for infrastructure projects. If you have a strong background in civil engineering or construction management and a passion for delivering projects with excellence we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Lead project teams by providing clear direction and leadership to ensure optimal performanceLiaise with contractors, property owners, the public, and external agencies (municipalities, police services, etc.) to resolve issues and complaintsProvide ongoing support and guidance to junior engineers and technical staffMonitor contractor and consultant performance, including reviews of extra work, contract documentation, and claimsEnsure projects remain on schedule and within budget to meet client expectationsPrepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports to clients and consultantsReview design drawings and verify Inspection Test Plans before work commencesRespond to Requests for Information (RFIs) from contractors to ensure clarity and directionEnsure compliance with quality plans, processes, and proceduresAttend inspection requests and conduct on-site reviewsConduct regular team meetings and maintain awareness of project developmentsMonitor fieldwork for compliance with specifications, drawings, and approved methodsIssue Site Visit Reports and Non-Conformance Reports as neededQualifications:Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementMinimum 5 years of experience as a Contract Administrator, preferably in infrastructure or municipal construction projectsStrong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholdersPlease send your resume to
