As a Specialist Intern, Machine Learning & Predictive Analytics , you will enable machine learning framework and tools to provide business users ability to ask and get insights using ML models. In addition, use prediction models to test variable changes and validate with real world application (a-b testing). This person should be curious about their surroundings, love thinking about the data needed to identify and measure performance, be able to turn high-level requirements into solutions, and possess outstanding logical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as advanced presentation platform skills. Internship will start on May and end on August 2025. This internship could lead you to an opportunity to join us on a full-time permanent basis after you graduate. What youll be working on: Machine Learning Operations (MLOps) Feature selection, training, prediction and evaluation on different models Continuously fine-tune and improve accuracy Monitor and Alert on performance Improve input prompts to guide the Large Language Model (LLM) model toward generating more relevant and accurate results Use Machine Learning to automate repetitive tasks Use Machine Learning to build predictive models to support our restaurant brand teams with meaning insights Manage the ongoing process of data management, security and governance, understanding the current guidelines and working with team members to optimize processes to deliver a world-class solution to Recipe stakeholders Provide business relationship intelligence, analyzing market information, conducting competitive analysis, studying our Guest-base (using various quantitative/qualitative metrics) and undertaking data analytics Who we are looking for: Master''s degree (or enrolled in) in Management Analytics, Data Analytics, or other applicable quantitative discipline Exceptional logical thinking, problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify critical areas and issues Excellent attention to detail and quality Proven ability to collaborate, and verbally and visually communicate effectively with all levels including senior executives Hands on experience with SQL coding Can-do attitude and commitment to quality, efficiency and continuous improvement Must have strong organizational skills and be able to prioritize and multitask in a fast paced work environment Quick and curious learner Frequent periods of concentration to analyze requirements and identify options and solutions Occasional unexpected work demands, changes to deadlines on short notice and tight time pressures Whats in it for you: Flexible/Hybrid work environment (In office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) Youd be joining a close-knit, innovative team of creative and energetic go-getters Youd be a part of Canadas largest full-service restaurant company that leads the industry in size and innovation 20% associate discount dining card valid at participating Recipe brands A welcoming, fun and safe work environment founded on respect Career advancement opportunities with a company that owns some of Canadas most iconic restaurant brands Recipe is committed to providing a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace.
