Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Frontend-Focused) Location: Remote - Canada (Eastern Time core hours) Compensation: $120,000 - $160,000 CAD + benefits About the Role We are seeking a Senior Full-Stack Engineer with a strong front-end focus to join our innovative team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with product owners and engineering teams to create cutting-edge digital solutions. This role requires a proactive individual who can take ownership of technical decisions, mentor junior developers, and drive best practices in software development. Key Responsibilities Full-Stack Development: Implement high-performance, maintainable solutions across frontend and backend. Technical Leadership: Guide the team by providing mentorship, code reviews, and architectural direction. Scalability & Performance: Ensure software solutions meet business needs while adhering to best practices in security and efficiency. Testing & Quality Assurance: Advocate for test-driven development, automation, and high code quality. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize processes, enhance workflows, and introduce innovative technologies. Tech Stack Frontend: TypeScript, Angular, React Backend: Java (preferably 21, though 17 is also acceptable) with Dropwizard Additional Technologies: Dependency Injection & Data Handling: Spring, Spring Data, Hibernate, QueryDSL Databases: Oracle & PostgreSQL Testing Tools: Custom Java-based tool for automation and integration testing Postman for API testing Webdriver.io for UI automation Ideal Profile Experience: 6+ years in full-stack development with a focus on frontend technologies. Technical Expertise: Strong proficiency in React, Angular, and TypeScript; backend experience with Java frameworks (Dropwizard, Spring Boot, Hibernate) is highly desirable. Testing & Automation: Hands-on experience with integration, API, and UI testing frameworks. Leadership & Collaboration: Ability to mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and work cross-functionally with product teams. Industry Background: Experience in B2C, digital platforms, or large-scale applications is preferred (iGaming experience is a plus but not required).
