Title: Senior Manager (Audit and Advisory) Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid) Department: Audit and Advisory Services Purpose: Provide independent and objective assurance and consulting services to improve company operations, focusing on governance, risk management, and internal controls. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage audits and other projects on time and within budget. Understand business risks and develop audit plans to address them. Execute test procedures and document findings clearly. Perform fieldwork as needed to meet deadlines. Write well-organized audit reports, including risk assessments. Oversee SOX planning, walkthroughs, and testing. Coach and mentor junior staff. Use data analytics to improve audit quality. Must-Have Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in audit, risk management, or related consulting. Strong knowledge of audit practices, risk management, and regulations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to work effectively in diverse teams and environments. Nice-to-Haves: Experience with data analysis tools. CPA (Canada, US, UK, Ireland, Australia) or CIA/CISA preferred. Background in insurance (life and health) or financial services is ideal.
