Responsibilities: Communicate with clients and discuss options, strategies, and solutions at key junctures of their case so they understand their options and make informed decision Prepare legal documents and pleadings; such as applications, answers, briefs, motion materials, affidavits, etc. Prepare clients for hearings and trials Attend conferences and trials Qualifications: Ability to handle files from start to finish Ability to handle all aspects of files, from intake to resolution, with minimal supervision Reliability, organization skills, the ability to prioritize, multitask, and adhere to strict deadlines Ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, coworkers, and other professionals Ability to prepare clients for questioning, mediations and all court appearances Ability to review and prepare materials including pleadings, affidavits, briefs, facta, and other court documents, and to organize disclosure Strong research skills Effective communication skills
