Sr. Director of ProcurementMississaugaOur client seeks a dynamic Senior Director of Procurement to establish a top-tier procurement organization and drive transformative change.Reporting to the CFO, the Senior Director of Procurement will oversee the review of existing procurement policies and procedures, manage a team of 10 direct reports, and collaborate with key stakeholders across the business. Experience with B10 OSFI regulations is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing a best-in-class procurement department by evaluating current practices and making recommendations based on their leadership experience. This role requires a hands-on leader who is involved in high-level negotiations and ensures the team performs at a high level. Additionally, the role includes leading system implementations across the business as it transitions to a new ERP and introduces a new contract management system.The ideal candidate must have over 8 years of leadership experience as a Director, with a proven track record in leading change management projects. Experience in building and managing teams, as well as ensuring a best-in-class procurement organization, is essential. The candidate must have procurement experience in the private sector, particularly within the financial services or insurance industry. Strong leadership skills, including the ability to lead direct reports and collaborate effectively, are crucial.
