Job Title

We are looking for a disciplined and artistic individual with a firm grasp on animation styles, techniques, fundamental, and software. The animator will read through scripts and speak with creatives to understand project needs, ideate, explore, and create storyboards and animations, and assist in the editing process. Although graphics and animation is the main focus, this role may need to utilize other software tools to edit video footage and integrate audio into multimedia content Experience working with technology clients and with content variations is a plus.Key AccountabilitiesCollaborate with the creative and production team members to understand needs, review scripts, design storyboards, and create and edit animations and video footage, as needed.Listen to feedback and alter animations to better suit creative needsEnsure that the final product aligns with the needs of the creative and is delivered on timeWork alongside team and creative team leaders to adhere to quality and brand guidelines.Use creativity and artistic techniques to tell a story or provide information in a visual formMaintain an open and solution-focused demeanor when working with teammates, especially when dealing with short deadlines, changing direction, and roadblocksMaintain organized files and workflows to facilitate collaboration in a remote work environmentManage a workflow that can be easily accessed and implemented by other staff membersStay abreast of industry trends and developments and new applicationsProficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly After Effects, Premiere, and Photoshop.Knowledge of FigmaExcellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Skills Required5+ years of After Effects experienceMust have knowledge of Adobe Creative CloudBachelors degree in computer animation, fine arts, graphic design, or related fieldStrong interpersonal communication, presentation, and computer skillsA strong eye for design and an interest in seeking new inspiration and design styles, while demonstrating a clear understanding of design best practicesespecially pertaining to typography and compositionUnderstanding of animation, storytelling, and character development techniquesAttention to detail, adaptability, and receptiveness to feedback and directionAbility to work independently or with a team to develop animations and solve problemsDevelop motion graphics and animations using 2D, from concept to execution.Passion for being part of a team; strong ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environmentVideo editing experience is a plus3D animation experience is a plusKnowledge of AI.Illustration skills and the ability to create custom graphics are strongly preferredLinks to work/portfolio required*
