Were seeking a Site Superintendent to join our client in the Commercial Construction sector in Winnipeg. As a Site Superintendent, you will be responsible for the management of all field and site-specific construction activities, including the project design, budget, schedule, performance, sub trades, and profitability of commercial construction projects. What we offer Salary: $105,000 to $125,000 Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 80% employer paid medical and dental. Long term and short term disability plan Gas allowance- most project sites are within the city. Annual bonus. What Youll Do: Continuously monitor project budget and forecasting to the individual phase code level and cost type for potential gains and losses Provide leadership and direction for all project activities and tasks, ensuring project outcomes are delivered successfully and in compliance with all contracts and client needs Ensure clear communication of project-specific roles and responsibilities for all site personnel. Provide regular and respectful feedback for all under your direction Monitor company equipment and supplies to ensure the needed equipment is where its required. Inspect tools and equipment and notify the Tools and Equipment Manager for service and repair as needed What Were Looking For: Journeyman trade certification or equivalent experience Technical diploma and/or Gold Seal certification are considered assets Five or more years experience managing commercial construction projects for a large general contractor Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office tools, Bluebeam and Procore. Strong skills in scheduling and experience managing design-build delivery models. Strong leadership and collaboration skills, leading all field personnel, including sub-trades; and working effectively with other members of the project team off-site.
