Were in growth mode, and our platform is scaling rapidly to support users across North America, Europe, Asia, LATAM and Australia.Were hiring a Senior Backend Engineer to lead the evolution of our backend infrastructure and help scale our systems for global throughput, low latency, and regional compliance. Youll take charge of re-engineering our ML inference pipeline and scaling our web services to support a global user base while ensuring data residency compliance, especially for sensitive jurisdictions like Canada.What Youll DoArchitect and scale backend systems to serve a growing global user base with reduced latencyRebuild and optimize our ML inference deployment pipeline for high-throughput processingEnsure compliance with data residency requirements across regionsImprove reliability and observability across our backend servicesCollaborate with ML, DevOps, and product teams to build for performance and resilienceOwn and drive engineering solutions from design through productionYou Must Have5+ years of backend development experience with proven track record in scaling systemsDeep experience with Django, GraphQL, and Azure (AKS, Functions, Service Bus, ML Studio)Deep experience with relational databasesStrong understanding of distributed systems and async workflowsExperience with workflow orchestration tools like Prefect (or similar)A systems-thinking mindset and hands-on problem-solving skillsNice to HaveExperience building and supporting large-scale solutions with globally distributed usersExperience working on large-scale AI/ML productsJoin us in transforming how hiring is done - with fairness, performance, and global impact.
