Company DescriptionRiconny Farms is a 3rd generation family owned farm located in Southeast Manitoba. We have a grain farm and farrow to wean hog operations. Role DescriptionThe head of maintenance position is responsible to ensure the hog farms and grain farms are maintained and in good working condition. Head of Maintenance reports to CEO.Responsibilities include (but not limited to):Fixing maintenance issues in barns and grain farmManaging a maintenance teamResponding and troubleshooting barn alarmsTeaching barn staff basic maintenance fixes and alarm systems.Keeping all 6 yards (Home, Redekop, four barnyards) maintained and cleaned in summer and winterResponsible for rodent control programDeveloping and running our annual preventative maintenance programFinding quotes for different projectsManaging construction on expansion projectsHelping on the grain farm as neededQualificationsPreventive Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair skillsExperience in Maintenance ManagementTeam Management skillsExcellent organizational and time management skillsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlinesExperience in the agriculture or farming industry is a plusTechnical certification or degree in a related field
