An Industrial supplier company in Woodstock, ON is currently seeking for a Jr. Purchasing Agent to join their team. Ideal candidate will have 6month to 1 years of production/manufacturing industry purchasing/Procurement experience. This position is full-time onsite position, comes with a great benefit package as well as relocation support. Entry-level candidates and new graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply!Responsibilities of Jr. Purchasing Agent ;Analyze the market price of the materials from different suppliers based on quality-level and shipping costs etc.Maintain communications along with other departments regarding order specifications and prevent for possible damage/ loss/ delay/ complaint from customers.Analyze present and past order progress reports and make suggestions to prevent any delays/ issues with orders.Create and update purchasing documentsCreate RFQs, send to suppliers for pricing, analyze and compare returned RFQs from different suppliers, provide feedback to suppliersPerform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications of Jr. Purchasing Agent ;At least 6 month~1 year of experience in supply chain coordination, purchasing at manufacturing or industrial supplier industryAssociate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Communication and related field preferredStrong negotiation skillNo travel restriction to US facilityExperience with ERP software MS Dynamics, SAP, AS400 etc. is a big plusProficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially ExcelAbility to be flexible to work effectively with a wide variety of people and to work responsibly and effectively in a multicultural environmentAbility to multi-task and perform duties time efficientlyTeam-worker, Detail-oriented, Responsible, Punctual, Self-motivatedActiv8 Recruitment & Solutions / Renaissance Resources Inc. has been a trusted leader in North American recruiting for Japanese businesses for over 25 years.
