Work on meaningful projects that make a real impact, while growing your leadership skills and contributing to a supportive, innovative studio culture.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign LeadershipLead the development of interior design projects that challenge traditional views of healthcare environments.Manage all phases of design projects, from proposals and budgeting to concept development, documentation, specifications, and closeout.Strive for innovative, sustainable, and functional design solutions.Research and integrate new materials that align with LEED and building code standards.Oversee resource allocation and workflow efficiency to reduce errors and omissions.Collaborate on interior finishes and specifications, ensuring cohesive design execution.Coordinate all FF&E and interior architectural plans with clients and consultants.Project & Team ManagementOversee multiple complex projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables while maintaining client relationships.Serve as the primary contact for sub-consultants and project teams.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate designers.Develop systems and processes to enhance design quality and technical execution.Collaboration & InnovationWork closely with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project coordination.Lead design charrettes and critiques that foster creativity and challenge design thinking.Contribute to business development efforts, including promotional materials and client engagement.Participate in staffing, project assignments, and professional development within the team.QualificationsBachelors degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture.10-15 years experience in interior design, with a strong focus on healthcare and commercial projects.ARIDO/IDC certification required.High proficiency in Revit is a must.Experience with 3D modeling software (SketchUp), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is an asset.BCIN, LEED, and/or WELL certification is a plus.Proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage design teams.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication and client management skills.Ability to balance multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines.Ready to Elevate Your Career?If youre a design leader who thrives on innovation and wants to create impactful spaces, wed love to hear from you.
