In 2023, while retaining its independence, Normandin Beaudry expanded its reach by becoming an equal shareholder of MBWL International, an existing joint venture between Milliman, Barnett Waddingham and Lurse, enabling the firm to continue to provide excellent service to its clients as they expand internationally.About the RoleWe are looking for a Consultant to join our Defined Contributions and Savings consulting team in our Toronto office. The role involves managing projects for client organizations of various sizes and business sectors, and, depending on your interest, participating in business development.Responsibilities Plan and manage ongoing projects and support resources;Support the development of associate consultants and analysts through coaching, delegating and peer review;Make recommendations, anticipate needs and respond to requests from internal and external clients;Take part in annual projects (plan and investment performance review, governance oversight, recordkeeper management, etc.) and ad hoc projects (plan design analyses, benchmarking, investment lineup review, insurer request for proposals, etc.);Prepare presentations for various stakeholders and plan members.QualificationsBachelors degree in finance, economics, actuarial science, or other relevant degreeRequired SkillsAt least 5 years of consulting experience in a Defined Contributions and Savings practice or relevant experience;Share Normandin Beaudrys values: excellence, respect, initiative, collegiality;Ability to work collaboratively and foster a positive team environment;Strong problem-solving and customer service skills;Demonstrate professionalism and accountability.Preferred SkillsContribute to research and development in one of our areas of expertise (plan design, investments, governance and administration, communication and engagement, etc.);Participate in external visibility activities (e.g., conferences);Help prepare proposals and presentations to potential clients.Equal Opportunity StatementAt Normandin Beaudry, we recognize that some groups face systemic barriers that create inequality in employment.
