Advisory AssociateAs an Advisory Associate, you are essential in cultivating client relationships. Your organizational and relationship management skills support the success of you and your Financial Advisor, and the financial well-being of our clients. You have working experience with both investments and credit products and consider yourself a high-touch service provider. In this critical role, you thrive on establishing highly efficient and accurate work processes, and delivering world class client service.Employee Type: Full Time (Monday - Friday or Tuesday - Saturday, flexibility required) Location: Undetermined North Vancouver BranchKey responsibilities of this role are:Builds and maintains a strong partnership with the Financial Advisor by establishing efficient administrative processes and relationship building techniques to ensure portfolio growth and overall work quality.Audits and organizes mutual fund files for accuracy and completeness.Meets with clients assigned to the Financial Advisor to provide seamless, client intimate service. Spots opportunities for these clients and processes or refers accordingly.Uses Client Relationship Management software to maintain client information and communicates any deficiencies to the branch compliance manager or Financial Advisor.Processes client transactions efficiently and accurately, such as transactions related to new accounts, term investments and registered products. Responds to a variety of client requests.Performs administration/input of loans/mortgages, credit reviews, reporting, estates, safekeeping, scheduling, data entry, and any other related tasks to portfolio management.Liaises with other units such as Legal and Lending Services to facilitate prompt, efficient and profitable sales and service.Completes proactive contacts/calls as assigned.Administers and completes all files/documentation necessary for estate accounts administration.Qualifications and Experience2 years progressive experience in the Financial Services industrySolid understanding of lending and investment practices and proceduresDiploma or Degree in Business Administration an assetFinancial Planning courses an assetMutual fund license is an assetPay TransparencyPay transparency is an important characteristic of our recruitment process and overall BlueShore culture which supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive workforce.This role is on a salary step program that provides timely recognition of skill development at important intervals. Salaries on this program are reviewed quarterly to reflect progress made. The range of this role is $57,000 - $67,600, plus competitive variable performance bonus.
