This will be to support of the TAP (as a sub-element of the DND/CAF Airworthiness Program), its development, maintenance, implementation and its related documentation as well as in support of Technical Investigations (TIs) and the delivery of Engineering Support (ES) services.ResponsibilitiesAssist the Air Warfare Engineering Manager in the development of an Air Warfare Engineering Program dealing with domains such as Systems Security Engineering, Cyber Mission Assurance, Cyber Vulnerability Assessment and Cybersecurity Audit & Penetration Testing Supervisor and program review for technical investigations into cyber mission assurance for military avionics systems Assist the Air Warfare Engineering Manager with the identification and development of cyber education and training to support Systems Security Engineering, Cyber Mission Assurance, Cyber Vulnerability Assessment and Cybersecurity Audit & Penetration Testing Investigate and analyse technical/technological issues related to Systems Security Engineering, Cyber Mission Assurance, Cyber Vulnerability Assurance and Cybersecurity Audit & Penetration Testing Maintain a technology watch and provide technical expertise/advice on issues relating to System Security Engineering, Cyber Mission Assurance, Cyber Vulnerability Assessment and Cybersecurity Audit & Penetration Testing, and issues relating to Cyber Weapons Function as DTAES 8 OPI for networked tasks conducted by RMCCAssist the Reporting Authority in the mentoring of Air Warfare best practices to DTAES government employees to ensure that the government attains a satisfactory level of technical core competency to continue to provide future Air Warfare Engineering to the Air ForceDevelop a specialized laboratory environment to conduct technical investigations into cyber vulnerabilities in military avionics buses, and the development of defensive cyber operations with respect to operational technology (OT) such as aircraft systemsQualificationsMust have a degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, communications engineering, systems and computer engineering or electronics engineering from a recognized post-secondary institution OR Must have a degree from a recognized post-secondary institution* in a science or engineering discipline, and specialized education in computer science, systems or avionics.Must have a minimum of six (6) years work experience in cyber vulnerability assessmentMust have a minimum of two (2) years work experience with Operational Technology (OT), such as avionics upgrades and integration of avionics or mission systems in military and/or civilian type platformsMust provide details, including at least one (1) example of work performed or formal education that clearly demonstrates knowledge* in cyber vulnerability assessment for OTAdditional RequirementsYou will need to be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance at the Secret level
