Portfolio Implementation AssociateOur client, located in Oakville, is searching for a Portfolio Implementation Analyst to join their growing team. In this role your main responsibility will be to ensure data integrity between our clients portfolio management system and various custodian systems, as well as assisting the team with trading support, client proposals and Investment Policy Statement preparation.Position Responsibilities: Trading SupportScrub extracts from various systems and convert it into a clean dataset that will be used to make key investment decisionsAssist trading team by delivering trade allocation instructions via SSCNETData IntegrityComplete Daily Reconciliation responsibilities between the portfolio management system and custodians to ensure data integrity including flagging, researching and correcting reconciliation discrepanciesAssist with Monthly/Quarterly/Annual fund distribution allocations to client accountsPerform data/system integrity and maintenance responsibilities on a regular basis including addition of new securities into portfolio management system and security book value reconciliations and updatesClient Portfolio Policy Development & MonitoringWork closely with the Wealth Planning team to create Investment Proposals that align with the prospective clients drafted wealth plan and their indicated tolerance for riskAssist with client onboarding by preparing a Security Transfer-In Plan and Transfer-In Plan summaryPrepare account opening summary for Client Service TeamPrepare Investment Policy Statements originating from the previously prepared Investment ProposalUpload investment policy guidelines into the clients portfolio management systemPrepare exhibits for review at weekly Portfolio Implementation Team meetingsSubmit cash movement instructions to custodians on a regular basisClient ReportingAssist with Quarterly Report preparation for clients including running reports within portfolio management system and reviewing reports for data integrityAssist with Annual Tax Package preparation including reconciling data and calculating tax allocation factorsInvestment ComplianceDevelop an understanding of various regulatory and investment compliance responsibilitiesAssist with preparation of various reports to be submitted to the clients Compliance CommitteeRequirements:Completed post-secondary educationCompleted Canadian Securities Course3+ years experience in investment operations and/or portfolio analysis within a regulated Canadian Wealth Management firmCompleted CIM/CFA is an asset
