OVERVIEWWe are seeking a Senior Manager / Lead Project Management to drive end-to-end execution of New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within the pharmaceutical space. This pivotal role, based in Mississauga, involves managing a dynamic portfolio of global projectsfrom project chartering to commercial launchensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and stakeholder alignment.This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic, organized, and cross-functionally savvy leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-impact environment and brings a passion for innovation in the life sciences sector.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESProject Management & ExecutionLead a portfolio of high-priority pharmaceutical NPI projects, ensuring timely and successful product launches.Develop project charters, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and resource plans aligned with internal and external stakeholders.Drive cross-functional coordination with Regulatory Affairs, R&D, QA, Marketing, Business Development, and Supply Chain.Identify, assess, and resolve project risks and issues proactively.CMO & External Partner OversightManage and build strong relationships with Contract Manufacturing Organizations (CMOs) across global sites.Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are met.Governance & Performance ReportingProvide accurate, timely updates to project and executive leadership.Track KPIs, budgets, timelines, and project deliverables using Smartsheet, MS Project, and other tools.Support lessons learned, process improvements, and project framework development across the PMO.Operational & Strategic SupportParticipate in strategic planning, portfolio reviews, product onboarding, and business case development.Assist in contract due diligence, SKU rationalization, and financial forecasting in collaboration with cross-functional teams.Team MentorshipSupport onboarding, development, and performance management of junior project managers.Promote continuous learning and best practice sharing within the PMO.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.PMP certification required.Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex pharmaceutical NPI projects.Strong preference for experience with sterile injectables, generic drugs, and CMO collaboration.Proficient in Smartsheet, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP.Proven experience managing cross-functional teams in global, multicultural environments.Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and analytical skills.Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
