Our Montreal-based team of 45 has helped over 13,000 businesses navigate government grants and achieve digital transformation since 2017!We are currently looking for a key hire to lead our expansion into Ontario as a Senior Consultant for Government Grants and Funding. This role will be instrumental in establishing helloDarwins presence and managing our growing client base in Ontario.About the Role:As a Senior Consultant, you will be responsible for researching, identifying, writing, and managing government grants and tax incentives for Ontario-based businesses. You will serve as the primary point of contact for new Ontario clients, taking full ownership of client relationships from onboarding through grant execution and ongoing account management.Your Responsibilities:Regularly meet with active clients to deeply understand and analyze their business objectives.Identify and strategically match suitable grant programs to client needs.Manage and execute the grant application process, collaborating closely with our internal team of analysts.Act as the main point of contact for clients, integrating account management, project management, and strategic financial planning.Develop annual grant strategies, clearly presenting project eligibility and financial benefits to clients.Financially evaluate and validate client projects focused on digital transformation, growth, and innovation.Ensure smooth communication with internal sales, consulting, strategic advisory, and analyst teams.Work Environment:You will simultaneously manage multiple client portfolios, typically businesses with annual revenues ranging from $10M to $150M. Your strategic understanding of their business goals and your ability to secure relevant funding will directly contribute to their success and helloDarwins growth in Ontario.About You:Minimum of 4 years of proven experience specializing in government grants and incentives within Canada, preferably Ontario.Passionate about working in an agile, collaborative, and creative team environment.Comfortable engaging multiple businesses each week via video calls.Proven ability to quickly grasp complex business challenges.Experienced in professional reporting, presentation decks, and financial analyses.Skilled with CRM platforms and proficient in Google Suite (Slides, Sheets, Forms, Gmail).Highly organized, efficient, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Why helloDarwin?Join a rapidly growing team with significant opportunities for career advancement.
