In this role, you will:Client Acquisition: Actively seek out new clients through networking, referrals, and marketing efforts. This includes attending industry events, joining professional associations, and leveraging social media platforms.Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for additional services.Market Knowledge: Stay informed about market trends, legal developments, and industry changes to provide clients with up-to-date advice and insights.Strategic Planning: Create and implement business development strategies to grow the firm's client base and enhance its reputation in the commercial real estate sector.Negotiation and Advocacy: Skillfully oversee commercial real estate transactions, negotiate contracts, leases, and other real estate transactions, advocating for clients' best interests.Team Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and other professionals, such as brokers and financial advisors, to provide comprehensive legal solutions.Professional Development: Continuously improve legal expertise and business acumen through ongoing education and training.What You Need to SucceedMinimum of 5 years of experience as an Associate with a proven ability to attract and retain clients, and the desire to continue to do soMember in good standing with the LSO What You Will Receive in ReturnMentorship and support from an established rain maker in commercial real estateSupport from an established Director of Business Development and Marketing as well as the full support of the Partners and an uncapped spend on marketing and business development initiatives Base salary dependent largely on the individual, ranging from $150,000- 180,000Lucrative bonus structure Fully remote working arrangement for candidates located anywhere in OntarioOpportunities for professional development and career advancement, clear path to partnership if so desiredAccess to cutting-edge legal resources and technology
