Job Title

We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to become an integral part of our team at our Aylmer location. This position will have direct oversight of the facility including management of the staff, inventory management, equipment maintenance and various other tasks to ensure the overall efficiency of the location.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Overall management of the location, including supervision of approximately 10 full and part-time employees.Conduct monthly and annual inventory counts and order product as required.Develop strategies that drive and promote the location.Ensure equipment is maintained in good working order and ready for the season.Ensure all customer needs are met and required products are available.Promote and facilitate food grade production opportunities for growers.Maintain regular contact with customers and prospects to ensure customer satisfaction and capitalize on opportunities.Promote Food Grade production opportunities with Food Producers.Work with the Operations Management team to focus on continuous improvements in operating procedures.Ensure all company policies, procedures and programs are adhered to.All other duties as assigned.Job Requirements:Strong understanding of agricultural and custom application practicesExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsHigh degree of technical agricultural knowledgeComputer skills including proficiency in MS Word and ExcelCapable of building strong working relationshipsRequired Qualifications:Diploma or degree in agribusiness, business management or an equivalent combination of education and experience3-5 years of experience in the agriculture industry preferredPrevious supervisory experience considered a strong assetHensall Co-op is committed to employment equity and encourages members of the four designated groups to apply.
