Job Description

As a Senior Sales Representative you will play a key role in driving sales growth in Quebec by developing strong client relationships, maintaining the ones already in place, understanding customer needs, and providing customized equipment solutions. This role is ideal for a consultative sales professional with experience in the food manufacturing or packaging industry. Please submit your resume in English.Territory: Greater Eastern Montreal / Laval area (East of Papineau Street /east of hwy 15 ) / west shore of St Lawrence to Quebec city area. Work Place: Home Office Products/Services: Processing and packaging food equipment Salary: Base $95,000 -$100,000 Commissions/Bonus: $60,000- $90,000 annually (paid monthly) Car allowance:$800 per month + $0.26/km Expenses reimbursement: All expenses reimbursed Other Benefits: Full benefits paid by company which include health, dental and profit sharingFunctions:-Managed existing base of customer (about 40 to 60 customers)-Call on prospective clients in your territory-Keep track of current and future client projects-Build funnel through cold calls, networking and industry events-Keep a healthy funnel as per company directives-Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends-Facilitate and negotiate contract terms-Help to facilitate product samples and deliveries-Work with field service teams to ensure 100% customer satisfactionRequirements:Development vs Maintenance: 40% vs 60% Road vs Office: 80% vs 20% Languages: French and English Education: College degree or equivalent experience required Training: On the job training but must come from the industry Overnight Travel: About 40% of overnighting per month - travelling is mostly in Quebec city Years of experience: 5 to 7 years'+ industry experience required Other requirements: Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task Transferable contacts: Knows the food industry and has deep contacts within Transferable Knowledge: Has direct experience selling capital equipment
