Immediate need for a talented Android TV developer. This is a 12+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Canada (Remote). Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).Key Requirements and Technology Experience: Key skills; Android, TV, Java, Kotlin2+ years of experience on Android development with Kotlin and Java.Experience with analytics tools such as Adobe, Conviva, Dynatrace or New RelicStrong willingness to learn new technologies on the TV space.Strong work ethic, positive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical detailsExperience with video/TV applications, and DRM technologies.Experience with streaming video technologies (DASH, HLS) and video players.Experience developing Android TV applicationsExperience with public cloud (Client Cloud, AWS).Presentation skills to business and technical audiences.Our client is a leading IT Industry, and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
