LeverageTek is actively seeking a SharePoint Online Expert for a 2-month contract with its Ottawa based customer. Work Location Remote Key Tasks Design, configure, and maintain SharePoint Online sites, site collections, and libraries. Develop custom solutions using Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and SharePoint Framework (SPFx) when needed. Implement information architecture including metadata, content types, navigation, and taxonomy. Integrate SharePoint Online with other Microsoft 365 applications like Teams, Outlook, and OneDrive. Establish and enforce governance, security, and compliance policies. Migrate content from legacy SharePoint versions or third-party systems to SharePoint Online. Provide end-user training, documentation, and support. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver tailored SharePoint solutions. Monitor usage, performance, and ensure system reliability and scalability. Stay up-to-date on Microsoft 365 roadmap and SharePoint Online enhancements. Key Qualifications Define and manager information architecture including site structure, navigation, metadata, content types and taxonomy to ensure intuitive user experience. Demonstrated experience in SharePoint security and Purview. Proven experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Other Qualifications Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, modern sites, and administration. Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps), SPFx, and PnP PowerShell is a plus. Familiarity with governance, security best practices, and compliance in Microsoft 365.
