The Senior Media Strategist is responsible for delivering strategic insights across all media channels to enhance clients'' business performance. This role focuses on developing creative, cost-effective, and efficient media communication plans. Additionally, the Senior Strategist cultivates and maintains strong client relationships while collaborating effectively with internal account teams and media buyers. Key Responsibilities 1. Client Management and Relationship Building Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term relationships with client teams, understanding their needs and objectives to drive strategic media solutions. Client Education: Educate clients on media trends, strategies, and the benefits of various media platforms to ensure informed decision-making. Crisis Management: Quickly address and resolve any issues that may arise during the execution of media campaigns, maintaining transparency with clients throughout the process. 2. Strategic Development and Planning Strategic Development: Create and refine media Points of View (POVs), incorporating industry trends and insights into impactful media strategies. Creative Media Planning: Develop comprehensive media plans that align with the overarching strategy, considering various media vehicles such as Digital, Search, Social, Broadcast, Print, and Out-of-Home (OOH). Integrated Campaign Development: Collaborate with creative and digital teams to develop integrated media campaigns that align with branding and marketing objectives. Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify target audiences, trends, and consumer behavior patterns that inform media strategies. Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyze competitor media strategies to identify opportunities and threats, ensuring that client strategies remain competitive. 3. Execution and Performance Optimization Performance Analysis: work in collaboration with the performance team to regularly track, analyze, and report on campaign performance metrics, providing actionable insights and recommendations for optimization. Budget Management: Assist in the development of budgetary allocations for media buys, ensuring efficient use of resources while maximizing return on investment. Media Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed media schedules, ensuring that all campaigns are executed on time and in accordance with client expectations. Negotiation & Vendor Relations: Negotiate media rates and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements that meet client objectives. Innovative Media Solutions: Stay current with emerging media technologies and platforms, proposing innovative solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness. 4. Team Leadership and Development Team Collaboration & Leadership: Train and mentor junior team members, managing their day-to-day workloads and fostering a collaborative environment. Collaboration with Creative Teams: Work closely with creative teams to ensure that media placements align with creative messaging and enhance overall campaign effectiveness. Industry Engagement: Participate in relevant corporate training and industry media functions, representing the organization and expanding industry knowledge and networks.
