Here Is What We Are Looking For: A detail-oriented and strategic Content Editor who can lead and support content development efforts that drive brand visibility, thought leadership, and lead generation. The ideal candidate excels in both big-picture strategy and fine-tuned editing, ensuring all contentacross blogs, landing pages, and service pagesis optimized for SEO, brand voice, and conversion. This person should be comfortable managing timelines, collaborating across teams, and continually refining processes to ensure efficiency and high-quality output. Here Is What You Will Do: Content Editing & Quality Control Edit and proofread content for grammar, punctuation, clarity, tone, and SEO alignment across various formats including blog posts, landing pages, social media, PPC content, and web projects. Ensure all content aligns with client briefs and includes proper keyword usage, accurate headlines, and clear subheadings. Maintain high editing efficiency, consistently reviewing multiple SEO articles per hour during the workday. Edit content from both internal writers and outsourced platforms, filling in content gaps when necessary to maintain quality. Create templates based on clients current websites to help content writers align with content requests that match the current structure of a sites content. Workflow & Communication Manage the flow of content across multiple service teams, including SEO, link building, PPC, web, and social media, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment. Review and assign content briefs/requests to guide writers effectively. Communicate regularly via chat and Zoom with other editors, specialists, writers, and managers to keep projects moving smoothly. If the content doesnt match the content request/brief, you are expected to work directly with a writer to help them better align with the request. Collaboration & Meetings Participate in weekly meetings with the Content Manager to share project updates and address ongoing priorities. Attend regular team meetings with fellow content editors to collaborate, train, and build team culture. Collaborate cross-functionally with strategy and service teams to support client goals and uphold content standards. Project & Time Management Track project status, next steps, and timelines using internal systems and tools, and report progress when needed. Meet all project deadlines and stay within allotted hours; communicate proactively if adjustments are required. Maintain flexibility to take on additional tasks or projects as needed. Professional Development Stay up to date with industry trends, content best practices, and algorithm updates by following leading marketing blogs and resources. Proactively seek opportunities to improve both the speed and quality of your editing work. Contribute to the development and refinement of content processes and procedures for improved efficiency and performance. You Could Be a Great Fit for This Role If You Have: A Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in fields such as Marketing, Communications, Advertising, Journalism, Information Systems, or related areas.
