Were currently seeking a skilled and experienced PROJECT MANAGER to support our client, the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement, within the Information Technology Division (ITD) and the Project Management Office (PMO). This position plays a vital role in delivering high-impact public sector projects that support citizens across Saskatchewan through digital transformation and modernization of essential social service systems.The successful candidate will operate in a dynamic, multi-stakeholder environment, collaborating closely with technical teams, external vendors, and executive leadership. This role is critical in ensuring project success through effective planning, execution, communication, and risk management.LOCATION & WORK HOURS:Location: Onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan (mandatory)Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM (CST), with flexibility as needed based on project deliverablesTHE ROLE Project ManagerA seasoned and proactive Project Manager to join the Project Management Office within the Ministry of SaskBuilds and Procurement. This individual will manage multiple strategic projects including the upgrade of the LINKIN platform (Cram 8.0.2) and the modernization of the Social Worker Information Network (SWIN). The role requires application of established PMI-based project methodologies to manage complex IT implementations, stakeholder engagement, and integrated service delivery.REQUIREMENTSMandatory Experience:Minimum 7 years of project management experience, preferably in public sector or large enterprise environmentsProven track record leading multi-phase IT projects across digital platforms, cloud environments, and legacy system transitionsExperience with government service delivery models and public-facing digital servicesDesired Experience: Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent Familiarity with Cram software or other case management platforms Proficiency with tools like Azure DevOps and ServiceNow Experience managing vendors, contracts, and cross-functional teams Familiarity with Saskatchewan Government operations or similar jurisdictional contextKey Attributes: Excellent stakeholder communication, meeting facilitation, and team collaboration skills Strong documentation, reporting, and schedule management abilities Able to manage risk, scope, and change in complex environments Detail-oriented with a strategic mindsetDELIVERABLESProject Leadership & Execution: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets Ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and within scope Monitor scope, risk, cost, and quality throughout all phasesStakeholder Engagement & Communication: Lead regular project updates and workshops with stakeholders Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership and external partnersVendor & Technology Oversight: Collaborate with external vendors and IT service partners Ensure alignment with architectural standards, compliance requirements, and technical deliveryProject Governance & Reporting: Align with Government of Saskatchewan project management methodologies Document and manage change requests, resource needs, and risk mitigation strategiesABOUT THE ROLE:This is a 24-month contract position, commencing June 2, 2025, located onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan, with potential for extension up to an additional 24 months.
